BMA on full alert for floods following torrential rains

The flood prevention centre of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration announced Wednesday that it has been on full alert to drain flood waters after heavy downpours hit most parts of the capital.
As of 11:45 am, the centre reported that Suanluang district saw the heaviest rains with 139 mm of rains measured. It was followed by Min Buri district with 130 mm of rains and Saimai district with 119.5mm or rains.
The centre said most Bangkok streets were not flooded. Floods hit only sois, such as Soi Chokechai 4 and Soi LaSalle.
