US embassy expresses condolences over passing of Supreme Patriarch

In a letter to Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, US Ambassador to Bangkok Kristie Kenney said, on behalf of the American Embassy and community in Bangkok, she would like to express profound condolences to the Thai people on the passing of His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch."
"Please accept our deepest sympathy during this period of national mourning," Kenney said.
