U.S. stocks closed narrowly mixed in sluggish trading overnight, as investors hesitated to jump in following a batch of mixed earnings reports and ahead of the Federal Reserve&#39;s policy meeting. 
	Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.35 points to close at 15,568.93. 
	S&amp;P 500 gained 2.34 points at 1,762.11, after setting a new all-time high of 1,765.01 during intraday trading. 
	Nasdaq composite dropped 3.23 points at 3,940.13.
