Draft broadcasting rule concerns NBTC commissioner

Supinya Klangnarong, a commissioner of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, expressed her concern over the draft content regulations which will be discussed on Monday.
She said the draft is apparently meant to prohibit the broadcasting of contents above the legal requirements.
"It's unbelieving that the draft would be considered by the board this soon. Academics and lawyers agreed earlier that the enforcement could lead to regulatory conflicts as the draft regulations are not properly backed up by the laws," she said.
