Wife's friend arrested for Jakkrit's murder

Voraphanphuree Montreeareekul, a friend of Nithiwadee Phucharoenyos, wife of slain Olympian shooter Jakkrit Panichpatikum, was arrested Sunday.
Voraphanphuree told police that she has been a friend of Nithiwadee for seven years and learnt of their family matters. She said at times the shooter was intoxicated and hurt his wife. Once he shot at the wife, nearly hitting their son sleeping nearby, she said. She said the murder plot was planned about 3-4 months ago when Nithiwadee miscarried.
