Suthep vows to stay put inside Finance Ministry

Protest leader and former Democrat MP Suthep Thaugsuban vowed Tuesday to stay put inside the compound of the Finance Ministry although the government has declared enforcement of the Internal Security Act throughout Bangkok.
While walking around to greet demonstrators inside the ministry’s compound at 8 am, Suthep said he was not worried by the government’s threat of legal actions against him and other protest leaders for leading protesters to encroach upon the government’s property.
He said he had no plan as to whether to lead protesters to move around Bangkok Tuesday.
