T News reported that about 30 red-shirt guards from Rajamangala Stadium went to road in front of the university at 6 am and clashed with the students. Explosion and gunfire were heard now and then.
A woman living in a boarding house behind the university said she could not go to work because there were a lot of red shirts on the road waiting to attack the students.
The woman said her younger brother, who is a Ramkhamhaeng student, was stranded inside the university and had nothing to eat.
Wathit Chotewathikul, a student leader, told The Nation that at 7 am gunfire was still heard now and then and four students were shots. Two of them were severely injured and all the injured students were rushed to Ramkhamhaeng and Dr Panya hospitals.
