During the visit, a number of documents that will strengthen the legal base of the inter-state relations are planned to be signed, according to Trend News Agency. The fuel and energy, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres are among the priority spheres.
The agency reported on Saturday that the Turkmen government would postpone the visit to 2014.
"It was stressed that at present, there is a need for additional work in this area. The relevant documents must be thoroughly examined," it said, quoting a government's report.
Three days ago, Thailand's Foreign Affairs Ministry announced that Berdimuhamedov's official visit, scheduled from November 30 to December 2, to enhance the cordial relationship between Thailand and Turkmenistan, was postponed.
Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Sek Wannamethee insisted Sunday that the visit was postponed due to a personal reason, not because of the Thai political situation.
