Thai composite stocks index (SET) opened on Monday at 1,296.58, down 18.05 points, or 1.37 per cent amid rising&nbsp;political tension and falls of&nbsp;most regional shares. 
	Blue chip SET-50 index was at 884.92, down 13.96 points, or 1.55 per cent.
