Army spokesman Winthai Suwaree said the agency received a police letter asking for the four officers from the 9th Infantry Battalion in Kanchanaburi (Surasee Camp) to hear the charges and the army would co-operate, as in many previous cases. He said a staff judge advocate would escort them to the police and let the legal procedure take its course. He affirmed that the accused would be dismissed from the army if proven guilty, and urged the police investigation into the attack, which is ongoing, to ensure justice for all sides.
