FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2014

Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order chief Chalerm Yoobamrung said at 10.45am that the CMPO would have launched crackdown on protesters had it not been prohibited from doing so by the prime minister.

Chalerm said Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra asked it not to suppres the protesters for fear of bloodshed.
However, Chalerm said CMPO would be able to do something to deal with the People's Democratic Reform Committee by the afternoon.
