BAAC union reiterates demands

The labour union of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) reiterated its demands regarding the rice pledging payments.
At the meeting with the management led by President Luck Wajananawat, they said all loans the bank borrow to repay farmers must be guaranteed by the Finance Ministry. The bank should not use any of its deposits for this purpose. Meanwhile, the Commerce Ministry must speed up the release of rice stockpiles.
