Senatorial election draws 457 applicants nationwide

The registration for the Senate election on March 30 was open from Tuesday and ended Saturday.

Among the provinces, Bangkok has the highest number of candidates with 18 applicants, Puchong said, however, the figures were unofficial.

Puchong warned the applicants not to promote policies or promise anything to voters in the manner to be considered as wooing votes as doing so would violate the law.
