Prayuth, who is acting prime minister, has assigned NPOMC deputy chief and Supreme Commander Gen Thanasak Pratimaprakorn to be in charge of security affairs.
Thanasak will supervise the Defence Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the Information and Communications Ministry, and the Foreign Ministry.
NPOMC deputy chief and Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) chief ACM Prajin Junton will be in charge of economic affairs.
He will supervise the Finance Ministry, the Commerce Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry, the Energy Ministry, the Labour Ministry, and the Transport Ministry.
NPOMC deputy chief amd Royal Thai Navy (RTN) chief Adm Narong Pipattanasai will be in charge of social psychology affairs.
He will supervise the National Resources and Environment Ministry, the Education Ministry, the Public Health Ministry, the Science and Technology Ministry, the Culture Ministry, the Social Development and Human Security Ministry, and the Tourism and Sports Ministry.
RTA assistant chief Lt Gen Paibul Khumchaya has been assigned to be in charge of legal and judicial Affairs. He will supervise the Justice Ministry, the Office of the Attorney-General, and the Anti-Money Laundering Office.
NPOMC deputy chief and Royal Thai Police chief Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew is in charge of special affairs.
He will supervise the Council of State, the Secretariat of the Prime Minister, the Secretariat of the House of Representatives, and many other agencies.
Prayuth himself will supervise the Internal Security Operations Command, Royal Thai Police, the National Security Council, National Intelligence Agency, and the Budget Bureau.
