Thai composite stocks index (SET) opened on Friday at 1,479.82,up 2.34 points, or 0.16 per cent despite falls on Wall Street and most&nbsp;Asian shares. 
	Blue chip SET-50 index was at 993.76, up 1.09 point, or 0.11 per cent.
