Residents of six provinces warned of heavy rains
The Meteorological Department warned residents of six provinces of Prachinburi, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phang Na and Phuket to brace themselves for heavy rains Sunday.
The department said about 80 per cent of Bangkok areas would also heavy down pours for the day.
The rains will be unleashed by the influence of a monsoon over the North, upper Central and Northeast and a southwest monsoon over the Andaman coupled with a low pressure ridge over the upper South China Sea.
