BEIRUT (AFP) - A US-led coalition hit Islamic State group targets in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor early Tuesday as well as in its Raqa province stronghold, a monitoring group said.
Most of the targets hit were in the Deir Ezzor town of Albu Kamal on the Iraq border, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
"The coalition carried out 22 air and missile strikes against the town of Albu Kamal," the Britain-based group said.
