Medical supplies donated to 37 hospitals

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha yesterday presented medical supplies to 37 hospitals under the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Army in a move to make merit for Their Majesties the King and Queen.

The Army created Buddha statues and amulets to raise money for the merit-making project.
The Bt53.508 million raised in the donation drive was used to procure 134 medical devices and 16 ambulances.
Prayut said this was the second batch of medical supplies donated to these hospitals as they take care of Army officers, their families as well as members of the public.
