PM promises to help landless poor get plots to make a living

PRIME MINISTER General Prayut Chan-o-cha has promised to help low-income people obtain land plots so they can make a living.

At the same time, he has called on people to be patient as his government’s efforts to address land-management problems.
Prayut, who also heads the National Council for Peace and Order, said he was chairing a committee that is trying to help landless, low-income people.
“Natural Resources and Environment Minister General Dapong Rattanasuwan will mainly be in charge of the implementation [of initiatives],” he said. “We plan to ensure that landless, low-income people get land plots for their livelihoods.”
