The National Legislative Assembly Thursday passed the first reading of a bill to allow Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy and the Survey School to provide doctorate degree courses.
Currently, the academics provide up to master-degree courses. The bill was passed with 206 votes while five NLA members abstained. The NLA set up a 15-member panel to vet the bill in 30 days.
