BMA adds civic duty to school curriculum

All 438 Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) schools will add civic duty to the curriculum from the second semester of this academic year.

Primary students will be taught the subject for a hour every week, while junior secondary students will be allotted 40 class hours for the subject per academic year.
Senior secondary students will have 80 class hours on the subject over three academic years.
BMA has launched this subject in response to the National Council for Peace and Order’s policy.
