Nomination for DSI chief

Justice Minister Paiboon Khumchaya will put forward the name of Suwanna Suwanjutha, the ministry's deputy permanent secretary, as the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) chief for Cabinet approval today, a source at the ministry said yesterday.
If approved, her priority would be the “men in black” and cases related to the People’s Democratic Reform Committee protest, the source said.
The ministry will also propose the ministry’s inspector general Weerayuth Sukcharoen as new head of the Department of Juvenile Observation and Protection. The post has been vacant since last month.
