77 EC provincial offices ready to gather public opinions on reforms

The Election Commission (EC) Tuesday ordered its provincial offices to support the National Reform Council (NRC)'s tasks in gathering public opinions on nation reforms.
EC secretary-general Puchong Nutrawong said the EC was asked by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) and NRC to use EC offices in 77 provinces as a coordinate center for supporting the NRC members.
The EC offices will work as a center to collect reforming ideas in 11 areas from the local people so that people don’t need to go to Bangkok. Moreover, the offices will be used as a place for NRC members to meet the local people, he said.
