APEC to discuss closer cooperation against corruption

Beijing (dpa) - The 21 members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum should collaborate more closely to clamp down on corruption, a senior official said Thursday.

Proposals for cross-border measures against corruption would be tabled at the upcoming summit in Beijing, APEC executive director Alan Bollard said.
The association's members represent around 40 per cent of the world's population, and 55 per cent of its economic output.
