Former Pheu Thai MP and red-shirt leader Weng Tojirakarn said Friday that the government made a fuss about nothing by arresting five students who flashed the Hunger Game salute during Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha's visit to Khon Kaen.
Weng said the arrest made student activists’ campaign at a Bangkok movie theatre more interesting.
He said the government should have learned a lesson from the arrest and should learn not to use excessive power.
