Transferred police officer's death caused by fall

The sudden death on November 20 of Crime Suppression Division's Sub-Division 1 former chief, Pol Colonel Akkharawut Limrat who was recently transferred to work at the Royal Thai Police Operations Centre, resulted from shattered spine and damaged rib cage

Following previous rumors that the policeman had committed suicide, an informed source reported that the policeman’s funeral and cremation rites were held at Wat Lak Si on Friday before the family collected the ashes to float them in the river yesterday.
Akkharawut, 41, was among four policemen who were transferred earlier this month to inactive posts as per the order signed by national police chief Somyot Pumpunmuang.
