Prayut says govt needs to change lottery sale method

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said the government will have to change the sale method of lottery to solve the issue of overpriced lottery.
Speaking during his weekly TV programme aired Friday night, Prayut said if the method is not changed, the overpricing would never be tackled. The prime minister did not elaborate, saying that his government is working out on an alternative way of sale that would require legal amendments.
But the government would also take into account the plight of poor lottery vendors, the prime minister added.
