Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha wanted Khao Yai National Park officials to enforce more measures to prevent wild elephants from attacking vehicles of tourists, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Gen Dapong Ratanasuwan said Tuesday.
Dapong said Prayut did not want to see either tourists or elephants hurt in future close encountering. Prayut raised the concern after a wild elephant recently attacked a Vios sedan car on the road to the Khao Yai park.
