All but one member of NLA cast their votes

Former police chief Gen Pacharawat Wongsuwan was the only member of the 220strong National Legislative Assembly to be absent from voting in the impeachment case against three top politicians, including ex-PM Yingluck Shinawatra by reason of illness.

Another NLA member; Sathit Sawintorn, who was receiving treatment in hospital, was temporarily discharged from the medical facility in order to vote.
Sathit, the former director general of the forestry department, was escorted by two parliament officials on his way to the voting booth. Reports said he left the hospital this morning to attend the voting. He was allowed to cast his ballot first even though the voting was conducted alphabetically.
He was then escorted back to his hospital bed. No details have been given of Pacharawat’s illness.
