Transport Ministry allows private buses in Bangkok to raise fare by one baht

The Transport Ministry Friday agreed to let operators of private buses in Bangkok to raise the bus fare for non-air-conditioned buses by Bt1, Phattarawadee Klomcharoon, chairwoman of the private bus operators association said.
She said the ministry also agreed to allow air-conditioned buses to raise the fare by Bt1 per each distance. The raises will take effect on February 10.
