Google Earth Pro now free
Berlin (dpa) - Google is making its mapping service Google Earth Pro available for free. The programme used to cost 400 dollars (353 euros) a year, but now the software can be downloaded at no cost.
Google Earth Pro supports all the functions of the already free, basic version of Google Earth, but in addition it allows users to print high-resolution images and measure 3D buildings.
It's also possible to record HD videos of virtual sightseeing flights.
