The Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) yesterday announced the seizure or pending seizure of a large number of assets in the possession of a key suspect in the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) embezzlement case - including a Lam
The assets, worth more than Bt190 million, also include several vehicles, four land plots in three provinces and money found in several accounts under the name of Kittisak Matthujad and other people, said AMLO secretary-general Seehanart Prayoonrat, adding that a pub worth about Bt100 million was yet to be seized.
Pakorn said he would soon be summoned to hand over the Bt13-million vehicle to the AMLO and he was entitled to lodge an appeal based on him innocently buying it.
The vehicle’s price tag is based on the market price, not the amount Pakorn paid to a buyer acting as a nominee for Kittisak, Seehanart said.
