CDC resolves to allow non-MP to become PM

The Constitution Drafting Committee Thursday finalised the wording on the provision on the prime minister's qualification by not requiring that he or she must be an MP.
The provision also prohibits a person from holding more than two consecutive tenures as the prime minister. But another provision states that a non-MP prime minister must be in office no longer than two years.
