Navy submit submarine procurement proposal to Cabinet

The Navy has sent its submarine procurement proposal to the Cabinet Secretariat for putting on a Cabinet meeting agenda, Navy Commander-in-Chief Adm Kraisorn Chansuwanit said Thursday.
Kraisron said he expected that the proposal would be deliberated by the Cabinet soon.
The Navy asked the Cabinet to approve the proposal in principle first so it did not mention the number of submarines and models in the proposal, he added.
