PRIME Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has expressed condolences on behalf of the government over Friday's helicopter crash in Pakistan that killed seven including the Norwegian and Philippine ambassadors to Pakistan.

The wives of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors to Pakistan, as well as the helicopter’s two pilots and another crewmember, were also killed in the accident.
Prayut offered also offered his moral support to the Thai ambassador to Pakistan, Tomwit Charnsawan, deputy government spokesman Maj-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd said.
Tomwit was part of the same trip with other foreign envoys but on a different helicopter.
“On behalf of the Thai government, the prime minister offers his deepest condolences to the governments of [the countries involved] as well as the families of those who lost their lives. This was a great loss,” Sansern said.
