Chief of national parks department resigns

Samak Donnapi has submitted his resignation as the director general of the National parks Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department.
He said Thursday that his resignation was submitted on Tuesday and it will take effect on July 9, about three months before his mandatory retirement at the end of September. He said he decided to resign before his retirement because he considerd that his remaining tenure would not be enough for him to solve pending problems anyway.
