INITIAL investigation shows that the Kirimaya and Moon Dance projects in Nakhon Ratchasima province hold legitimate land-rights documents.

Provincial land chief Monsak Jongrak said yesterday that while the projects had made adjustments and partially encroached on public waterways, they had not encroached on any land. Kirimaya, a resort, covers more than 1,000 rai (160 hectares), while the Moon Dance property development covers more than 284 rai.
Investigation into these two businesses began in the wake of reports that another big business in Nakhon Ratchasima, Bonanza International Speedway, was allegedly encroaching into forest and agricultural-reform land.
