India to provide 1 billion dollars for Nepal earthquake rebuilding
Kathmandu (dpa) - India is to help Nepal with reconstruction aid of 1 billion dollars.
"I am happy to announce Government of India's pledge for Nepal's post-earthquake reconstruction of Nepali Rupees 10,000 crores, equivalent to 1 billion US dollars, one fourth of it as grant," says India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in a statment.
