CDC spokesperson Gen Lertrat Ratanawanich said numerous sections and procedures remained to be considered, such as the rearrangement of sections, ensuring continuity of various provisions as well as matters of reform and reconciliation, which have yet to be completed.
The CDC must also publicise its reasoning behind its various amendments all within the time frame it has been accorded.
Gen Lertrat said the CDC would have no reason to turn down the extension. He noted however that the 30 days included numerous public holidays and that the CDC would realistically be left with about 20 additional working days.
