Google urges Thais to mark Thai Language Day by teaching Thai to Google
Google Thailand has invited Thais to celebrate the Thai Language Day Wednesday by joining an online community to teach their mother language to the popular search engine.
“We want to invite you, and all Thais, to celebrate with us, by teaching Google Thai through Google Translate Community,” Google Thailand said in a press statement Tuesday.
The Google Translate Community can be reached at: https://translate.google.com/community.
“All this week we’ll be encouraging the country to contribute a word, a phrase, and anyone can help - you don’t have to be an expert - if you love your language we want you to join us,” the statement said.
At the community, Thais can contribute either as a translator or a person to validate translated phrases.
