Two more arrested over UFUN scheme

Two more suspects involved in the UFUN's alleged pyramid scheme have been arrested, deputy national police chief Pol Lt-General Suwira Songmetta told the press Wednesday.

Jewellery businessman Kanpatchasin Pitpaiboon, 42, reportedly had 796 downline members in the scheme and served as a speaker for UFUN.
Pongsak Pulsuk, 44, was accused of inviting 253 others to join the scheme and causing damages worth Bt12 million.
Suwira said police expected to arrest at least 100 of the 110 wanted suspects, who are still at large, by the end of this month.
