Confiscated vehicles auctioned off
The Customs Department yesterday held an auction for 535 confiscated vehicles - 397 cars and 138 motorcycles - from various cases. Among those getting high bids were a Porsche 911 model at Bt11.84 million while a BMW motorcycle R1600 GT model got a Bt827,
At the event, department director-general Somchai Sajjapong also returned 14 stolen cars to Malaysia’s ambassador to Thailand, Nazirah binti Hussain. The 14 vehicles, whose papers had been confirmed and accordingly processed, were among 56 vehicles reportedly stolen from Malaysia.
