Prayut leads Cabinet members, generals to visit Prem
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha led his Cabinet members and senior military officers to visit Privy Council President Gen Prem Tinsulanonda at his Sisao Thewes residence to wish him a happy birthday.
Prayut, his Cabinet members, the generals and senior government officials arrived at Prem's house at 9 am.
The ministers who accompanied Prayut to Prem's house included deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Gen Prawit Wonsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam.
Labour Minister Gen Sirichai Dithakul visited Prem in his capacity as the permanent secretary for Defence Ministry. Other military leaders who visited Prem included Supreme Commander Gen Worapong Sa-nganetr, Army chief Gen Udomdej Sitabutr, Navy chief ADM Kraisorn Chansuwanit, and Air Force chief ACM Trithot Sonjaeng. Police Commissioner General Pol Gen Somyot Pumpanmuang also accompanied them to residence.
Prem thanked Prayut and the military leaders and expressed confidence that the government and the generals would successfully solve the country's problems as a gift for all Thais.
