Man jumps from flyover, killed by passing vehicle in Samut Prakan

A man jumped from a stairway of a pedestrian flyover on the Kanchanapisek expressway in Samut Prakan's Mueang district Thursday morning and was killed by a vehicle that fled the scene, police said.
Police believe the man committed suicide because he was spotted by a woman trying to jump from the top of the bridge before he changed his mind to run toward a stairway and jumped from the middle of the way into the expressway.
The incident happened near the Erawan exit at 7:30 am.
The man appeared to be around 30 to 35 years old. He was unidentified as he carried no identification document.
