Phuket businessman cool to charter draft rejection

The National Reform Council's rejection to the charter draft is a positive development, said Bhuritt Maswongssa, vice president of Phuket Tourist Association.
He said that the majority of Thais seek true political reforms and the rejection effectively extends the junta's power by at least a year.
On the economic front, he said this would give ample time for the government's new economic team to revive the economy.
