Prayut says students activists intercepted for their own safety

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said Tuesday that the authorities prevented a group of student activists from protesting at the Rajabhakit Park for their own safety.
The students who boarded the Thon Buri-Lang Suan train were stopped at the Ban Pong railway station in Ratchaburi on Monday.
Prayut said the authorities learned that a group of people were waiting to attack the students at the park so they had to be stopped for their own safety.
