Constitution Drafting Commission Wednesday resolved to remove the clause on media censorship under martial law and emergency decree.

The move came after the panel met with strong criticism Tuesday.

Previously, they had agreed to stipulate in the draft that news articles and reports are subject to be censored by authorities during irregular situations. It was additional to previous Constitutions which only allow such an act in wartime.
