Clinton breathes `sigh of relief" after narrow Iowa caucus win

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 02, 2016

Des Moines, Iowa - Hillary Clinton stops short of declaring victory in the Iowa caucus, where she is locked in a razor-close finish with rival Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

"As I stand here tonight, breathing a big sigh of relief - thank you, Iowa," she says to a crowd of supporters in the Midwestern state.
With some 94 per cent of precincts counted, Clinton is at 49.9 percent, 0.3 per centage points ahead, and says she is "excited about really getting into the debate with Senator Sanders."
"What a night," Clinton says, "what an unbelievable night, what a great campaign."
