Bomb attack in Sungai Kolok district injured no one

Violence continued in deep south province of Narathiwat on Monday as a bomb exploded in Sungai Kolok district.
However no one was injured in the attack.
The blast that took place near Ko Lok River in Ban Padang Yor damaged a signboard and caused a hole on the road. Police said the explosives were hidden in an iron box and triggered by radios.
Police said the militants targeted a team providing security for teachers who were riding on two motorcycles and a pickup. But the blast went off before the team arrived at the spot.
