Chinese businessman named in gun shop heist deported

Chinese businessman Su Su, who was linked to an attempted heist at a Bangkok gun store last week and whose visa was revoked, was deported yesterday afternoon.
Although investigation showed that the man, general manager at a property firm in Bangkok’s Saphan Sung, did not know about the heist, his behaviour was deemed to be a threat to national security, Immigration Police chief Pol Maj-General Natthorn Phrosunthorn said.
He is accused of providing SIM cards to the robbers. Natthorn said, the man was deported and banned from returning to Thailand indefinitely. Su Su has no criminal record in either China or Thailand.
